Friday Musings

There are a few things I wanted to write about this morning, and I guess that makes a good time for some Random thoughts, or Friday Musings, or some such thing.  Anyway, here they are:

  • Best post I've read in the last few days:  Why You Shouldn't Make Weight Loss Your Primary Goal, over on Miz Fit's Blog.

  • Current weight:  215 lbs.
    Health Status:  way too tired, slightly sore, but overall good
    Blood Glucose:   99 mg/dL (normal)

  • I discovered that Cay's school has somewhat of an indoor track. Yeah, it's small (16 laps = 1 mile) but it'll do for now.  That'll give me more time to think about joining at the community college.

  • I've decided that The Biggest Loser and Survivor need to merge.  I mean, that'd be a show I'd love to be on: some exotic location, survival on the line, weight loss challenges...  the best of everything.  On the other hand, both shows have gone downhill so much in the last few years (IMHO) that it'd end up being the worst of everything...

  • The thought of possibly becoming a mommy-blogger at 54 is foremost in my mind this morning.  I need to put that aside for now.  I've already considered the options, have the contingency plans, and brooding over it (no pun intended) isn't going to do any good today: I need to refocus to the right now.

  • I'm always looking to find fabulous. Today I want to find some zen.
